Digitising safety and compliance on site comes down to one thing: getting workers to actually use the tools. Most don't – and that's what stops contractors going digital. More than 65% still run their sites on paper and scattered files. The software they've been handed was never built for the realities of site.

Paid mental health leave
Breadcrumb offers four paid mental health days of leave annually. Additional minimum viable days (MVD) are available - recognising that some days you might need to just send a crucial email or attend an important meeting but aren’t up for much more than that.

Breadcrumb seeks to support employees' social and psychological well-being in both the workplace and their personal lives. Breadcrumb offers free counselling services for employees and their direct family members through Converge. This covers everything from mental health counselling to career coaching and nutrition and financial support.

In every region – Melbourne, London, San Francisco – our teams work out of co-working offices with fantastic weekly perks. Vibes committee who organise regular events
Each office has a team responsible for planning fun social events throughout the year. So far these have included a night of stand-up comedy in Soho, weekly lunches themed around different cuisines, Friday pastries in the office, a lot of karaoke, and a full week of activities whenever a fellow team member visits from out of town.
Flexible working
We encourage in-person time so as not to lose our collaborative culture, but we know that not everyone does their best work in the office. Breadcrumb encourages flexible working to allow teams to meet their commitments outside of work including family responsibilities and team members living remotely.
Annual Professional Development budget
Every team member receives a yearly budget to put towards their professional development. This has been used for bucket-list conferences, finding and securing ongoing mentor sessions, creative workshops, and more.
Wellness budget
Breadcrumb’s employee wellness budget is designed to support anything that enhances the emotional, physical, social, spiritual, intellectual, or financial aspects of an employee’s life. Teams have used their budget to purchase yoga mats, bikes, new running shoes, massages, and more. Whatever helps fill your cup.
Paid Parental leave
We offer paid parental leave for both primary (10 weeks) and secondary (6 weeks) caregivers to help our teams ensure this special time in their lives can be cherished to the fullest.This can be taken at half or full-pay too to provide additional flexibility to our teams.
Paid Holiday and Sick Leave
All of our teams across each region receive a minimum of 20 days paid holiday leave and 10 days paid personal/sick leave that accrues over each year of service.
